We normally do not allow overnight camping at our parks, but for one weekend each fall, we invite families to pitch a tent out at McCloud Nature Park and explore the 232 acres of natural beauty together.
No need to travel too far from home to enjoy the feel of rustic camping in the wilderness! Come on out to McCloud Nature Park on September 30 and spend the weekend with us! Our Park Naturalists will provide plenty of opportunities for adventure with family games, campfire stories, telescopes for stargazing, and a moonlight hike!
Or do you own thing while you’re there – splash in Big Walnut Creek, explore the 6.5 miles of trails, take some photographs, listen for the sounds of nocturnal wildlife, tackle the McCloud Prairie Maze, and more!
Bring a tent, camping gear, sleeping bags and dinner to cook over the fire, and we’ll provide a campsite (including a firepit), s’mores and breakfast!
Advance registration is required and space is limited, so register your family early! Registration opens July 31.
