Bicyclists, join Greg Midgley for weekly bicycle rides along the Vandalia Trail!

Amo: 1st, 3rd, & 5th Tuesdays each month (trailhead at Railroad St. & Pearl St.)

Plainfield: 2nd & 4th Tuesdays each month (Franklin Park, trail entrance by White Lick Creek)

From Amo, enjoy the countryside & small towns riding the newly paved Vandalia Trail from Amo to Coatesville to the Hendricks-Putnam County Line, and then the packed stone Vandalia Trail to Fillmore, and possibly Greencastle, depending on the group. The longest round trip is 23 miles.

In Plainfield, ride the paved Vandalia Trail and other connecting trails on a nice trail loop around town. Round trip on the Vandalia plus the town loop is about 15 miles. (NOTE: This section of the Vandalia Trail is operated by Plainfield Parks & Recreation.)
