Winter Poetry Walk
January 25 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm ESTFree
Brisk, pristine, center yourself, inspiration, cold, embrace the frigid, frozen, elegance, delicate, still, silent. Drop in anytime between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and stalk the frigid footpaths for inspiration in the pristine elegance of winter’s touch. We’ve placed poems along the trail to keep you company. What other wild wonders hide away in the seemingly bleak boughs? When you’re ready, warm up in the Nature Center, and, should you feel so inspired, write a poem of your own!
Hiking terrain info: easy to moderate level of difficulty (varies by weather), gravel and natural surfaces, up to 1 mile.
This program is FREE to attend, appropriate for all ages, and no advance registration is required. Children younger than 16 must attend with a parent or guardian who is able to hike the trails.
APPROXIMATE PROGRAM DURATION: 6 HOURS (ONGOING)
