Calendar Photography Contest

Professional and amateur photographers, Hendricks County Parks & Recreation is creating a 2018 wall calendar, and we need your help!

We are seeking your best photographs from our three existing facilities: McCloud Nature Park, Sodalis Nature Park and the western portion of the Vandalia Trail (between Amo and the Hendricks/Putnam County Line). We are looking for digital photographs from all four seasons, and we will be selecting 12 photos to be featured in our 2018 calendar.

For each month within our 2018 calendar, one photo will be featured, along with the photographer’s name and a short description of your photography business (if applicable), including contact information. Additionally, we will identify you and your photography business (if applicable) on social media after the selection of the 12 winning calendar photos.

The photographers of each of the 12 winning calendar photos will receive:

  • One free t-shirt
  • Three (3) free calendars
  • One 8-ounce bottle of McCloud 100% All-Natural Maple Syrup
  • $30 gift certificate for registrations to Hendricks County Parks & Recreation programs in 2017 or 2018

Even if your photo is not selected for the 2018 calendar, you may find it on display inside our Nature Center at McCloud Nature Park, adding another great reason to visit our Nature Center throughout the year!

We may also use your submitted photo on social media, in The Explorer, or in other publications.
