This park was made possible due to a collaborative agreement between Hendricks County Parks and Recreation, the Indianapolis Airport Authority and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Situating a park in the midst of a habitat of an endangered species is a unique opportunity and has been made possible through the tremendous community spirit of each agency involved. The park serves as another example of why Hendricks County is a wonderful place to call home, both for our residents and the Indiana bat.
