SUMMARY:Father's Day Family Campout
DESCRIPTION:THIS IS AN OVERNIGHT FAMILY CAMPOUT. \nThis is your chance to camp at McCloud Nature Park! Many families try this as their first family camping trip because this is close to home\, and they enjoy the naturalist-led activities. Want to try camping but don’t have the gear? We have partnered with Camptown who are offering gear rental for this weekend! Don’t know how to start a campfire? We’ll teach you\, and we’ll provide firewood and s’mores. Relax at your campsite\, or explore the prairie maze\, park trails\, or go creek stomping. Join the naturalists for a night hike\, and then wake up to a continental breakfast. \nCheck in on Saturday between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.\nCheck out on Sunday by 11 a.m. \nAppropriate for all ages. \nRegistration opens May 1\, 2024. Don’t delay\, because this event sells out quickly. \nFee: $30/campsite (up to 6 family members per site).
