So Bunny devised his very own glowing goodies at and spread them throughout W.S. Gibbs Memorial Park! Will you be able to follow Bunny’s trail? He’s hidden glowing eggs along Walnut Walkway and around the ponds. Each egg has a clue that will lead you to either a trick or a treat! We will also have some cool glow in the dark crafts and fun! (NOTE: This egg hunt is a night hike\, so it is geared toward tweens\, teens and adults with questions that may be harder for some younger folks to answer. DESCRIPTION:April 8\, 2024 will provide a rare opportunity to view a total solar eclipse in Central Indiana! Join us for this special event!\n \nFor the first time in more than 800 years\, Central Indiana will be able to view a total solar eclipse! On April 8\, 2024\, the moon will pass in between the Earth and the sun\, and the celestial phenomenon will be visible in our area for the first time since 1205 A.D.!\n \nWe will be celebrating with a special program at W.S. Gibbs Memorial Park on April 8 beginning at 11:30 a.m.\, and then we welcome everyone to stay to watch the eclipse with us! Find your favorite spot in the park and enjoy the show!\n \nWe will even have FREE certified eye protection glasses that meet ISO 12312-2:2015 standards for the first 750 park guests that day!\n \n \n\nWhile we won’t be holding a program at McCloud Nature Park\, you’re welcome to view the total solar eclipse there\, too. Stop by the McCloud Nature Center and grab one of the 250 FREE sets of certified eye protection glasses that we’ll have available while supplies last! \n\n
