DESCRIPTION:This Roll & Stroll is geared for people in wheelchairs and their family and friends! We’ll enjoy an easy nature walk on this paved trail while learning about the plants and animals that live in the area. This stroll may consistent of up to a 1.5-mile stroll out from the start and a 1.5-mile return. Participants may turn back at any point along the trail if they would like to return sooner. ADA-accessible restrooms and water fountain are located at the Amo trailhead but not at the turn-around point. \nDress for the weather and bring a water bottle. \nPlease call our Weather Hotline at (317) 718-6111 for any weather-related concerns. \nTrailhead address is 5042 South Street\, Amo\, IN 46103. Upon completing registration through the link below\, you will receive an email confirming your registration. \nIf your favorite plastic toy had an overnight slumber party at the McCloud Nature Center\, what stories would they tell you about their adventures? Kids of all ages are invited to bring a plastic toy to the Nature Center\, where overnight fun will begin at 4 p.m. while the kids are home in bed. The shenanigans\, escapades\, and all the excitement will be caught on camera and posted live to the Hendricks County Parks and Recreation Facebook page. You’ll be amazed at the fun they’ll have! \nOnly plastic toys are allowed (no electronics and no stuffed toys allowed). Toys will be soaked in soapy water before and after the sleepover. \nDrop your toy off at the McCloud Nature Center anytime between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on June 5-8.
