DESCRIPTION:Anyone can create a welcoming haven for local wildlife in their backyard. It is fun\, easy\, and can make a lasting difference. Campers will explore all the different things they could find in their own backyard\, and they will be leaving with the knowledge of how to certify their backyard as a wildlife habitat.\n \nYoung children and their parents or guardian will participate together in age-appropriate nature activities. Children must attend with a parent or guardian\, as these are not drop-off programs.\n \nAdvance registration required by July 2 at: https://hcparks.recdesk.com/Community/Program/Detail?programId=844\n \nFor youngsters (age 2-5) with adults. Older siblings\, ages 6-7\, may also register and participate.\n \nThe $12 fee covers both child and adult.\n \nWe prefer a 1:1 adult-to-child ratio\, with the exception of siblings (in that case\, one adult for two siblings is fine).\n \nPlease register the CHILD\, rather than the adult. DESCRIPTION:The Parks Foundation of Hendricks County’s Summer Fun Run Series is back for 2024! Enjoy an untimed stroll or run with family and friends at your convenience between July 24 and 30 at McCloud Nature Park! \nWe will offer a short and a long course to run or walk on trails with gravel and natural surfaces. (Trails are not conducive to standard strollers.
