Get Ready, Get Set, BIKE!

Celebrate National Rails to Trails Day on the Vandalia Trail! Start your morning with Kevin Duitsman of Ride On Bicycle Repair LLC, located in Pittsboro. He’ll guide you through important steps to prepare your bike for summer riding, including a review of bike safety. Feel free to bring your bicycle to follow along with Kevin’s presentation, and he’ll provide basic tools for you to borrow on-site to do your own basic tuning-up. Then once your bike is ready to go, you can take off from the Amo Trailhead for a ride! 

Biking terrain info for self-guided ride: easy level of difficulty; mostly-flat asphalt trail; up to 4 miles 

RECOMMENDED FOR AGES 8 THROUGH ADULT. CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 16 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN.
