Homeschool Ecology Series: Winter Survival
February 26 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm EST$10
Animals use different strategies to survive the winter and younger homeschool students will explore these methods through hands-on activities. Students will stay warm building shelters to mimic animal homes, playing games, and looking for signs of wildlife while walking trails.
For younger siblings (ages 6-11) of students registered in the Homeschool Ecology Series, there will be a separate lesson on a similar topic offered concurrently for just $5 per child per session. These lessons have been created specifically for the younger students and are restricted to siblings of registered students in the Homeschool Ecology Series. Parents or guardians must attend with the younger siblings, as this is not a drop-off program.
Recommended for ages 12-18.
Advance registration required by Feb. 21. Registration opens on Feb. 1. Register at: https://hcparks.recdesk.com/Community/Program/Detail?programId=537
