DESCRIPTION:Photo by Brad Poreda\nHave you ever wanted to try disc golf? Here’s your chance! Hendricks County Parks and Recreation is partnering with the Hendricks County Disc Golf Club to offer this training seminar. \nThe seminar will include: \n\nProper course safety habits.\nThe differences in types of discs including plastics\, flight numbers\, and more.\nGeneral disc golf gear.\nThe basics of throwing a disc\, including drives\, upshots\, and putting.\n\nHands-on practice will include driving and putting.  And the event will conclude with a “ring of fire” competition with prizes! \nRecommended for teenagers and up (kids can attend but must be accompanied by adults). \nItems Needed: Discs if you have any. If not\, then a loaner driver and putter will be provided. \nDress: Casual sports dress\, dress for the weather\, and wear closed-toe shoes. \nSkill Level: All skill levels are welcome.
