Hey teens! Are you between the ages of 13 and 17 years old? Would you like to spend some time with us this summer out at McCloud Nature Park and help with our summer day camps? Then you might be interested in our 2023 Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program!

Our CIT program is designed to help teens learn valuable life skills, work responsibilities, and leadership skills through hands-on experience with our parks and recreation staff.

The CITs will mainly be helping with our Summer Nature Day Camps by running craft activities or leading a hike (with HCP&R staff present). Work with our naturalists to prepare for the Nature Day Camp, and then help lead a day of fun and education!
