If you would like to schedule a program for a non-school group, or if you are a teacher looking to schedule a program outside of the dates and topics of our free programs, you may be able to schedule a group program with our naturalists.
A group program can be a field trip or outreach program, lasts 1–2 hours, and focuses on Indiana native plants and animals. We incorporate discussion with specimens (pelts, skulls, tools, etc., as applicable) and games, crafts, or hikes. The specific activities for each program vary as we adapt the program to the age, experience, and interest of your group.
Group programming topics:
- Owls
- Bats
- Mammals
- Turtles
- Insects
- Butterflies
- Honeybees
- Creeks & Bugs
- Wildflowers
- Tree I.D.
Some topics are seasonal and/or location-specific. Our naturalists will discuss with you the best options for your group.
