Family Campout

THIS IS AN OVERNIGHT FAMILY CAMPOUT.

This is your chance to camp at McCloud Nature Park! Many families try this as their first family camping trip because this is close to home, and they enjoy the naturalist-led activities. Want to try camping but don’t have the gear? We have partnered with Camptown who are offering gear rental for this weekend! Don’t know how to start a campfire? We’ll teach you, and we’ll provide firewood and s’mores. Relax at your campsite, or explore the prairie maze, park trails, or go creek stomping. Join the naturalists for a night hike, and then wake up to a continental breakfast.

Check in on Saturday between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Check out on Sunday by 11 a.m.

Appropriate for all ages.

Fee: $30/campsite (up to 6 family members per site). Please list all family members’ names during registration. Additional family members cannot be added after 9/12.

No dogs allowed.

REGISTRATION IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL THE ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS IS COMPLETE AND PAYMENT IS MADE. REGISTRATION IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THE PARK ON THE DAY OF THE PROGRAM.
