The Explorer magazine is our list of programs at and information about McCloud Nature Park, W.S. Gibbs Memorial Park, and the western portion of the Vandalia Trail.

It is published three (3) times per year, covering four (4) months’ worth of programming and information at a time.

The Explorer is a free publication, and there are a few different ways to view it:  pick up a copy at our main office, at the McCloud Nature Center, or at either trailhead on the Vandalia Trail; view it online; find it at local libraries and businesses; or get the newest issue delivered right to your mailbox!

(Please note: as of March 2020, we no longer deliver magazines to local schools.)
