Fitness in the Park: POUND®

Hendricks County Parks and Recreation is proud to partner with local fitness instructors to offer FREE fitness classes on the first Saturday of the month!
 
Join Tiffany from Rebel Studio for this FREE POUND® fitness class!
 
POUND® is an exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND® transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out.
 
Designed for all fitness levels, POUND® provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up and rockin’ out! The workout is easily modifiable and the alternative vibe and welcoming philosophy appeals to men and women of all ages and abilities. Children may attend with a parent/guardian.
 
Bring a mat (yoga mat or beach towel) and water. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather as this is outside.
 
This program will be canceled at 4 p.m. the day before in case of a high chance of rain/thunderstorms.
