Ewwwwwww! Slime is slippery, sticky, and pretty disgusting! Bleurgh! But slime is actually very useful for animals such as salamanders and frogs. These amphibians want to keep their skin moist and slimy because they breathe through their skin and the slime protects them from bacteria and fungus! You’ll need a critter case for the catch and release amphibian hunt. And then make your own slime to take home!

Hiking terrain info: easy level of difficulty; gravel and natural surfaces; up to 1 mile.
