Guest Speaker Spotlight: James Horton and Snakes!

Are you a snake lover or more squeamish about snakes? Ever find a snake and not know what kind it was? Join James Horton at McCloud Nature Park for a presentation about our native snake species, identification, habits, and biology.
James is a lifelong nature enthusiast and master naturalist. His interests range from herpetology to botany. He is the current president and longtime member of the Hoosier Herpetological Society. He and his wife Pam operate Indiana Jim’s Reptile Experience, a traveling herpetological educational program.
Recommended for younger adults to adults. This presentation will last approximately 45 minutes to one hour. Free to attend, registration not required.
COVID precautions: This is an inside presentation, and the number of participants may be limited. Face coverings/masks are encouraged inside the Nature Center. Doors will be propped open for better ventilation.
