Homeschool Ecology Series: Planning for ‘The Big One’

If you need assistance completing your registration, please call the McCloud Nature Center at (765) 676-5437.Indiana doesn’t usually come to mind when thinking about large earthquakes, but we are near the New Madrid seismic zone, which over 200 years ago, rocked three large earthquakes that shook people in the Hoosier state. Build your own seismograph after discovering why earthquakes occur.
For younger siblings (ages 6-11) of students registered in the Homeschool Ecology Series, there will be a separate lesson on a similar topic offered concurrently.
$10/person for ages 12 through adult. $5/person for ages 6-11.
The concurrent younger sibling program is HIDDEN on the registration page. Email mccloudnp@hcparks.net for a link to register their younger siblings (ages 6-11).
