Tapping Maple Trees for Syrup

Join the park naturalists in tapping maple trees for maple syrup! Learn a little tree ID and assist in hanging buckets on the trees to collect sap! Be sure to come back one of the next Saturdays for Maple Syrup Days and the Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser! Dress for the weather as this program takes place outdoors.
Hiking terrain info: easy level of difficulty; gravel and natural surfaces; up to 0.5 mile.
RECOMMENDED FOR AGES 8 THROUGH ADULT. CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 16 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN WHO IS ABLE TO WALK THE TRAILS.
