Dr. Ryan Hastings specialized in tornadoes and severe weather for his PhD. This included several field projects to study storms. Dr. Hastings will introduce the basics of how to spot severe weather, and how tornadic thunderstorms work. Weather permitting, we may go outside and look at the clouds and see what’s going on with the atmosphere.

Free to attend, no registration needed. Approximate duration: 90 min.

Recommended for teens and adults.
