Join Sam Lashley from the National Weather Service for this discussion on how severe weather develops and how it impacts residents of Indiana. Learn how you can become a volunteer weather observer for the National Weather Service!Weather safety information and online resources will be shared for monitoring weather forecasts ahead of and during severe weather. Look at extreme precipitation trends across the Hoosier state dating back to 1900 and projections for these trends in the future.
Recommended for all ages. Free to attend.
COVID precautions: This is an inside presentation and masks are not currently required. The doors will be propped open for better ventilation, and the group size may be limited.
