Autumn is a beautiful time of year, and McCloud Nature Park bursts into colorful splendor in October and November every year. Because of the multitude of tree species found within the park, the wide variety of autumn colors lead McCloud Nature Park to be voted by the public through Visit Indiana as one of the best places for fall foliage in the state every year. The park was also cited by The Points Guy as one of the best places in the world to see beautiful fall foliage without the crowds.
As such, we celebrate the fabulous fall foliage every October with our fun, FREE, family-friendly Fall Colors Festival. We have 232 acres of natural beauty to explore while you’re here, including 7+ miles of trails, our historic truss bridge, the wetland boardwalk and observation deck, the McCloud Nature Center, and our McCloud Prairie Maze.
