Fitness in the Park: Pilates

Join Rebecca from Bela Pilates for this FREE Pilates fitness class!In this class, you will develop a greater awareness of your body alignment through a series of core-focused exercises. Every exercise is meant to strengthen, as well as lengthen the muscles of the body, while integrating total body movements. You will feel refreshed and taller when you leave this class. This will be a Level1/ Level 2 Mat Class, so that multiple levels of ability are welcome.
Please bring a mat, towel, and water bottle. Dress comfortably in fitness clothes and be prepared to take off your shoes and socks. Grippy socks like Toesox are allowed. A waiver must be signed before participating in this class, so please come a few minutes early. Space is limited to 20 participants. Children and grandparents are welcome.
*Not ideal for Pilates students with osteoporosis. Pilates can be done with osteoporosis, but it is suggested to work first privately with a Pilates Practitioner and to receive medical clearance from your doctor.
This program will be canceled at 4 p.m. the day before in case of a high chance of rain/thunderstorms.
