Homeschool Ecology Series: Scat, Tracks and Signs

***ADVANCE REGISTRATION REQUIRED*** Walk-in registration at the time of the event is not available. Upon completing registration through the link below, you will receive an email confirming your registration. If you need assistance completing your registration, please call the McCloud Nature Center at (765) 676-5437.Explore a variety of wildlife signs while making a tracking pit, learning how to use an animal tracks dichotomous key, and of course, by making edible scat. (A non-edible option will be provided for participants with food allergies.) Wildlife can tell us a lot by the signs they leave behind if we just use our powers of observation to notice.
For younger siblings (ages 6-11) of students registered in the Homeschool Ecology Series, there will be a separate lesson on a similar topic offered concurrently.
$10/person for ages 12 through adult. $5/person for ages 6-11.
The concurrent younger sibling program is HIDDEN on the registration page. Email mccloudnp@hcparks.net for a link to register their younger siblings (ages 6-11).
