Homeschool Ecology Series: Survival Shelters and Fire-Starters
February 18, 2022 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm EST
$10
People can only survive 3 hours in harsh weather without shelter or fire. Hopefully you won’t find yourself in a survival situation, but if you do, you’ll be well prepared to survive in comfort after practicing shelter building and fire-starting techniques. Finish the afternoon off with s’mores!
Parents of the students may also register as participants for $10/session if they want to participate in the activities with the older students. (Parents who do not register as students will not be able to join the group for the inside portion of the lesson but are welcome to join for the outside portions.)
For any questions or assistance with registration, please call the McCloud Nature Center at (765) 676-5437.
RECOMMENDED FOR AGES 12-18.
