Homeschool Ecology Series: Wild Wetlands

Did you know that most endangered birds depend on wetlands for their survival? Wetlands play a number of functions including filtering and storing water. Discover how some wetlands are created by beavers, and build your own mini beaver dam! How will your engineering challenge hold water?This program will be entirely outdoors to allow for safe distancing and supplies will be sanitized between students. Some of the activities will be self-led in family groups.
$5/child. Recommended for ages 6-11. Parents are required to supervise all of their children at all times during these programs. Older children are welcome to register but they may want to consider registering for Homeschool Ecology Series: Wetlands Aren’t Waste Areas for ages 12-18.
