Mindfulness Meditation in Nature

Meditation is a way to get in touch with ourselves in a deep way that promotes concentration, focus, attention, and healing. Each session will introduce the basics of meditation and how it works, and the instructor will lead participants through sitting and walking meditation sessions. The instructor, Ryan Hastings, has been practicing meditation for nearly 30 years.

Meditation sessions are held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month at McCloud Nature Park. Sessions begin at 11 a.m. Meet near the Nature Center for a short walk to the class location. Participants should wear loose-fitting clothing and comfortable walking shoes, and bring a chair or cushion and a blanket.
Recommended for teens and adults.
